This kit makes one lovely sashiko pin cushion, measuring approximately 8 x 8cm. 

Inspired by the traditional Japanese practice of boro and sashiko stitching, which is about embracing imperfection and using up every piece of fabric.

What's included in the kit: Fabric, interfacing, illustrated zine with instructions and crushed walnut shells for stuffing.

All you need is yarn and a needle.

The yarn that is used in the photos is a linen thread from Northern Ireland which can be bought separately at TWR.
